Germany Experiences a 2% Decline in Cylindrical Roller Bearing Prices, Averaging $33.0 per Kg.

Germany Cylindrical Roller Bearing Export Price in June 2023

In June 2023, the average price of cylindrical roller bearings in Germany was $33,018 per ton (FOB, Germany), showing a decrease of 2.3% compared to the previous month. Over the past year, the price has increased at an average monthly rate of 1.1%. The highest growth rate was recorded in January 2023, when the export price increased by 11% month-on-month. The export prices reached their peak at $33,812 per ton in May 2023, and then declined in the following month.

There were significant variations in average prices among the major exporting countries. In June 2023, the United States had the highest price at $48,088 per ton, while Romania had one of the lowest prices at $23,991 per ton.

During the period from June 2022 to June 2023, Belgium experienced the highest price growth rate at 3.2%, while other leading countries had more moderate growth rates.

In June 2023, Germany exported a total of 2.9K tons of cylindrical roller bearings, which was a 6.8% increase compared to the previous month. The total export volume increased at an average monthly rate of 1.1% from June 2022 to June 2023, with some noticeable fluctuations throughout the period. The highest growth rate was recorded in May 2023 with an increase of 11% month-on-month.

In terms of value, cylindrical roller bearing exports from Germany reached $97M (IndexBox estimates) in June 2023. The total export value increased at an average monthly rate of 2.2% from June 2022 to June 2023, with some noticeable fluctuations throughout the period. The highest growth rate was recorded in May 2023 with an increase of 14% month-on-month. The peak figure for exports was reached in June 2023.

In June 2023, the major exporters of cylindrical roller bearings from Germany were China (706 tons), followed by the United States (240 tons), Italy (214 tons), and Belgium (187 tons), together accounting for 11% of total exports. Among the remaining exporters, Austria, Spain, Romania, India, the Czech Republic, France, Sweden, Turkey, and Poland each accounted for a 7.4% share of total exports.

China showed an average monthly growth rate of 2.7% in exports from June 2022 to June 2023. The Czech Republic, Poland, Turkey, Italy, Belgium, the United States, and Austria also recorded positive growth rates. On the other hand, Spain, Sweden, France, Romania, and India had relatively stable export trends. The shares of the largest exporters remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In terms of value, China ($19M), the United States ($12M), and Italy ($6.6M) were the countries with the highest levels of exports in June 2023, accounting for a combined 12% share of total exports. Belgium, Austria, France, India, Spain, Romania, Sweden, Poland, Turkey, and the Czech Republic accounted for an additional 10%.

Among the main exporting countries, Belgium had the highest growth rate in the value of exports, with a CAGR of 4.4% over the period, while other leading countries had more modest growth rates.
