The United States observed a 0.0% increase in prices, while other major destinations experienced a decline in prices. During May 2023, approximately 8.4K tons of acrylonitrile were exported from the Netherlands, representing a growth of 45% compared to April 2023. Over the twelve-month period from May 2022 to May 2023, total exports showed an average monthly growth rate of 4.2%. There were noticeable fluctuations in the trend pattern throughout the analyzed period, with the most prominent growth rate recorded in January 2023 at 152% month-to-month. In terms of value, acrylonitrile exports reached $15M in May 2023, and overall, the value of exports increased at an average monthly rate of 1.2% during the twelve-month period. The main destinations for acrylonitrile exports from the Netherlands were Germany, the UK, and Italy, accounting for a combined 93% share of total exports. From May 2022 to May 2023, the UK exhibited the highest growth rate in volume and value of exports.
