In terms of exports, Spain saw a remarkable expansion in polycarbonate exports in July 2023, reaching 13,000 tons, a 10% increase compared to the previous month. However, overall exports showed a noticeable decline. The most rapid growth was observed in January 2023 when exports increased by 52% month-to-month. The value of polycarbonate exports slightly decreased to $43 million in July 2023. In terms of export destinations, China, India, and Germany were the primary countries receiving polycarbonate exports from Spain, collectively accounting for a 45% share. Sweden showed the highest growth rate among the main destinations, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 20.1% from July 2022 to July 2023. The largest markets for polycarbonate exported from Spain in terms of value were Germany, China, and India, comprising a 38% share of total exports.
