In June 2023, Poland exported 198K units of motor vehicles compression-ignition internal combustion piston engines, which grew by 5.8% compared to the previous month. The total volume of exports showed a significant expansion from June 2022 to June 2023, with an average monthly growth rate of +2.9% over the last twelve months. However, there were noticeable fluctuations throughout the analyzed period, with a decrease of -0.3% in exports in June 2023 compared to March 2023. The most significant growth occurred in January 2023, with a 66% increase month-to-month. The exports reached a peak of 198K units in March 2023 and remained steady until June 2023. In terms of value, Poland's exports of internal combustion engines surged to $278M in June 2023. The total value of exports showed pronounced growth from June 2022 to June 2023, with an average monthly growth rate of +4.0% over the last twelve months. Similar to the volume, there were noticeable fluctuations in value, with a 4.7% increase in exports in June 2023 compared to March 2023. The highest growth rate occurred in January 2023, with a 63% increase month-to-month. Germany, the Czech Republic, and Turkey were the main destinations for Poland's internal combustion engines exports, accounting for a combined 82% share. Germany remained the key foreign market, representing 54% of total exports in value. The average export price of internal combustion engines in June 2023 stood at $1,405 per unit, showing stability from the previous month. From June 2022 to June 2023, the average monthly growth rate in price was +1.1%. Germany and the Czech Republic had the highest prices, while Turkey and Portugal had lower average prices. The Czech Republic experienced the most notable growth rate in prices, with +1.4%.
