11% Increase in Chloride Prices Averages $519 per Ton for Mexico

Mexico Chlorides Export Price in June 2023

The price of chlorides in Mexico reached $519 per ton (FOB, Mexico) in June 2023, experiencing an 11% surge compared to the previous month. Overall, the export price showed a modest expansion. During the review period, the average export prices reached a record high of $644 per ton in October 2022, but from November 2022 to June 2023, the export prices remained lower.

Given that there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by the prices for the United States.

From June 2022 to June 2023, the rate of price growth for the United States was +4.4% per month.
