In July 2023, the volume of ceramic statuette imports into Poland experienced a significant surge, reaching 824 tons, which was a remarkable 18% increase compared to the previous month of June 2023. However, overall imports continue to show a considerable setback. The most significant growth rate was observed in January 2023, with a month-on-month increase of 57%.

Regarding value, the imports of ceramic statuettes dropped to $3.4 million (IndexBox estimates) in July 2023. The trend of pronounced shrinkage in imports persisted throughout the reviewed period. The highest growth rate in terms of value occurred in May 2023, with a 35% month-on-month increase.

The main suppliers of ceramic statuette imports to Poland were China (486 tons), Germany (258 tons), and the Netherlands (20 tons), accounting for 93% of total imports.

From July 2022 to July 2023, Germany experienced the most notable growth rate in terms of purchases among the main suppliers, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of -3.2%, while imports from the other leading countries declined.

In terms of value, Germany ($1.4 million), China ($1.3 million), and the Netherlands ($89K) were the largest suppliers of ceramic statuettes to Poland, making up 86% of total imports.

Among the main suppliers, Germany witnessed the highest growth rate in import value, with a CAGR of +1.4% during the reviewed period, while purchases from other leading countries declined.

In July 2023, the price of ceramic statuettes amounted to $4,073 per ton (CIF, Poland), showing a significant decrease of -19.8% compared to the previous month. Over the past twelve months, there was an average monthly increase of +1.5%, with the most notable growth rate occurring in June 2023, representing a month-on-month increase of 29%. However, the price fell significantly in the following month.

Prices varied considerably depending on the country of origin, with Portugal having the highest price at $5,714 per ton, while Vietnam had one of the lowest prices at $2,419 per ton.

During the period from July 2022 to July 2023, Germany experienced the most significant growth rate in terms of prices, with an increase of +4.8%, while the other major suppliers saw more modest growth rates.
