Canada Lysine Import Price in June 2023

In June 2023, the price of lysine in Canada reached $1,189 per ton, showing a slight decrease of -8.1% compared to the previous month. Although there were fluctuations, the overall import price experienced a noticeable decline. The most significant growth rate occurred in September 2022, with a 12% increase month-on-month, reaching a peak of $1,937 per ton. However, from October 2022 to June 2023, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied significantly depending on the country of origin, with the United States having the highest price at $1,817 per ton, while China offered a price of $1,126 per ton.

During the period from June 2022 to June 2023, the United States saw a notable decrease of -2.5% in terms of prices.
