Poland Vegetable Puree Export Price in April 2023

In April 2023, the price of vegetable puree in Poland decreased dramatically to $2,927 per ton (FOB, Poland), representing a -14.3% decline compared to the previous month. From April 2022 to April 2023, the price showed an overall growth rate of +1.0% per month on average. The most significant increase occurred in January 2023 when the average export price rose by 21% month-on-month. The average export price reached its peak at $3,416 per ton in March 2023 and then decreased in the following month.

Variations in prices were observed among different destination countries: Kazakhstan had the highest price of $4,304 per ton, while exports to Spain had one of the lowest average prices at $852 per ton.

During the period from April 2022 to April 2023, the highest price growth rate was recorded for exports to Israel (+3.7%), while the prices for other major destinations experienced more modest increases.

Poland Vegetable Puree Exports

In April 2023, Poland exported approximately 188 tons of vegetable puree, showing a 7.4% increase compared to the previous month. However, overall exports experienced a slight contraction during the review period. The most rapid growth rate was observed in February 2023, with a 125% month-on-month increase, reaching the peak of 251 tons. From March 2023 to April 2023, export growth remained at a lower figure.

In terms of value, vegetable puree exports from Poland declined to $550K (IndexBox estimates) in April 2023. The overall trend pattern of exports indicates a relatively flat trend. The most rapid growth rate occurred in February 2023, when exports increased by 127% month-on-month, reaching a peak of $802K. From March 2023 to April 2023, export growth remained at a lower level.

Poland Vegetable Puree Exports by Country

The main destinations for vegetable puree exports from Poland were the Netherlands (38 tons), Italy (29 tons), and Spain (22 tons), collectively accounting for 48% of total exports. Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Finland, Israel, the UK, Belgium, and Turkey followed closely, comprising another 46%.

Among the main countries of destination, the UK achieved the highest rate of shipment growth from April 2022 to April 2023, with a CAGR of +2.5%, while the other leading countries experienced more moderate growth rates.

In terms of value, the largest markets for vegetable puree exported from Poland were the Netherlands ($116K), Italy ($114K), and Ukraine ($82K), together representing 57% of total exports. Kazakhstan, Israel, Belgium, Spain, the UK, Turkey, and Finland lagged behind but accounted for an additional 36%.

Belgium showed the highest growth rate in export value among the main destination countries over the review period, with a CAGR of +3.2%, while the other leading countries experienced more modest growth rates.
