In July 2023, the import price of non-domestic heat exchange units in Turkey rose to $304 per unit (CIF, Turkey), exhibiting a 6.1% growth compared to the previous month. Over the past year, the average monthly increase in import prices stood at +1.6%. The most significant surge occurred in October 2022, with a 15% rise in average import prices. While reaching a peak of $326 per unit in April 2023, import prices remained slightly lower from May to July 2023.

The major supplying countries displayed notable variations in average prices. The Czech Republic had the highest price in July 2023, at $365 per unit, while China offered one of the lowest prices at $168 per unit.

Between July 2022 and July 2023, the Czech Republic experienced the most remarkable growth rate in terms of prices, with a +1.9% increase, while other major suppliers recorded more modest growth rates.

In July 2023, Turkey's import of non-domestic heat exchange units skyrocketed to 158,000 units, a 91% increase compared to the previous month. The total imports showed a strong upward trend from July 2022 to July 2023, with an average monthly growth rate of +6.7% over the past year. However, there were noticeable fluctuations throughout this period. Based on the figures for July 2023, imports surged by +91.5% compared to June 2023, reaching their peak and expected to continue growing in the near future.

The value of non-domestic heat exchange unit imports in July 2023 reached $48 million (IndexBox estimates). The total imports displayed a robust expansion from July 2022 to July 2023, with the value increasing at an average monthly rate of +8.5% over the past year. Similar to the volume, there were fluctuations during this period. Based on July 2023 data, imports rose by +103.2% compared to the indices of June 2023, reaching the highest level and poised for further growth in the short term.

Russia (30,000 units), China (29,000 units), and Italy (27,000 units) were the main suppliers of non-domestic heat exchange units imported by Turkey, accounting for a combined 55% share of total imports.

Between July 2022 and July 2023, Russia experienced the highest increase with a CAGR of +47.5%, while the other leading suppliers showed more moderate growth rates.

In terms of value, Russia ($15 million), Italy ($7.5 million), and China ($4.8 million) were the largest suppliers of non-domestic heat exchange units to Turkey, contributing to a combined 56% share of total imports.

Russia reported the highest growth rate in import value among the main suppliers over the review period, with a CAGR of +50.2%, while the other leading countries exhibited more modest growth rates.
